Pray for good health and unity among the team. Pray for protection as they will be in an area that can experience insecurity due to nearby rebel activity.
Pray for Openness to the Gospel

Pray that spiritual barriers would be broken and hearts would be receptive to the message of Christ. Ask God to raise up local leaders who can disciple others in culturally relevant ways. Pray for a sustained movement of prayer and for faith communities to emerge.
Encountering Jesus
Chadian Arabs: As the January–March term has come to a close, pray for the students who have completed both classes. Through these courses, they have encountered many stories from Scripture and gained a deeper understanding of who Jesus is. Pray that the truths they have learned would remain in their hearts and minds. Ask that they would respond by surrendering their lives to the one true God.
Community Groups
O for Kenya: Pray for ongoing encouragement and wisdom for a local leader “T” who has been meeting regularly with small groups of new believers in different areas. He is planning to spend extended time with each group on a rotating basis to strengthen fellowship and spiritual growth. Ask that these gatherings would be meaningful, unifying, and fruitful.
Light in the Dark
Somali of East Africa and Diaspora: Pray for the Light of Jesus to penetrate the darkness of the minds of all those who have said yes to reading the scriptures but do not yet see and understand. Pray that the words of truth sown into the hearts of these dear ones, would bear 100x fruit. For S and M and their whole family, for A and her whole family.
Pray for Collaborative Agricultural Projects (ADAPT for Peace)
Nuba Mtn Muslim UPGs: Pray for the expansion of agricultural initiatives that bring both S and O communities together. Ask God to bless collaborative farming, aquaculture, and development projects that encourage cooperation and mutual benefit. Pray that shared work would build trust and break down long-standing divisions. Ask that these platforms would naturally create opportunities for reconciliation and gospel witness.
Giving an Answer
Chadian Arabs: Praise God for opportunities to pray with patients and staff in the hospital. These moments open doors for deeper spiritual conversations. Pray that more such opportunities would arise. Ask for wisdom in answering those seeking truth. These conversations require grace, clarity, and cultural sensitivity. Ask that God would give the right words at the right time.
Listening Groups
Karimojong of Uganda: Pray for the launch of a a program called “Scripture Engagement”, promoting listening to and interacting with the Bible in small groups. The program is beginning with 50 audio Bibles with the plan to start Bible listening groups in communities where no one can read and where there are no Bibles. Please pray that as people get access to the Word of God, they will find life in Christ.
Students
Swahili Bantu of East Africa Coast: A few of M students are attending the Christian religion class at the local high school, despite a class on their own religion taking place at the same time in a different room. Pray their eyes and ears to be opened to truth and that they would not just gain information but understand and believe the Good News of Jesus.
Destroyed
Nuba Mtn Muslim UPGs: Urgent prayer needed for a situation where recent fighting has devastated ministry among the S people group. Over the past three years, there has been encouraging growth, with new believers, small gatherings forming, and practical developments such as farming, schooling, and micro-business initiatives taking root. Much of this was destroyed and burned during violence last month, leaving local partners displaced and communities scattered. Pray for protection, provision, and encouragement for these believers, and that despite the loss, their faith would remain strong and the gospel would continue to spread even in displacement and uncertainty.
Observant Friends
Chadian Arabs: Pray for ongoing outreach among local friends and community members who have noticed the difference faith has made in the lives of believers. Some have asked for prayer and are observing the impact of faith firsthand. Pray that these relationships would continue to deepen and serve as a strong witness. Ask that God would reveal Himself in powerful and personal ways.
Provision
Somali of East Africa and Diaspora: Pray for H, a young follower and member of our church, who completed his university studies last year and is currently searching for employment. Pray that the Lord will provide the right job opportunity for him and guide him as he begins this new season of life. Pray that he will have a heart for sharing the good news with others.
Teach us to Number our Days
Islanders: Pray for the family and colleagues of a local hospital worker in the capital who died suddenly last week. He had a long history of input from workers from our company and even professed faith at one time. Although he’d returned back to old ways, recently he had shown interest in Jesus again. May the workers not to be disheartened, but keep sharing truth. May God draw more people to himself through this death as they consider how fleeting this life is.
Displaced Communities
Nuba Mtn Muslim UPGs: Despite the turmoil of conflict, gospel ministry continues through youth discipleship, radio outreach, Bible storytelling, and education. Displaced communities are being offered hope through Scripture, trauma-healing initiatives, and practical physical aid. Pray that these efforts bear lasting fruit and that many come to faith in Christ.
Friendships
Chadian Arabs: Pray for growing relationships with friends and contacts within the wider community, including connections through local football activities. These friendships provide natural opportunities for meaningful conversations about faith. Ask that God would strengthen these relationships and make them effective for the gospel. Pray for wisdom and discernment in every interaction.
Pray for Trauma Healing and Hope
Nuba Mtn Muslim UPGs: Pray for individuals and families carrying deep emotional and spiritual wounds from the violence. Ask God to open doors for Gospel work in trauma healing and counseling. Pray that people would find hope, peace, and healing through Christ in the midst of hardship. Ask that these healing efforts would lead to long-term relationships and spiritual transformation.
Influence
Karimojong of northeastern Uganda: Pray for this highly marginalised people who often live in poverty. Christianity is present in the region, but animism and Islam have a strong influence on the culture. Pray for believers to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord. Ask the Lord to renew their minds, strengthen their faith, and provide for their needs. May He add to their number daily those who are being saved.
Harsh Conditions
Sudan: Thousands of displaced families are now living outdoors with little access to food, water, shelter, or healthcare. Many have fled multiple times, arriving with nothing and relying on leaves or minimal supplies just to survive. Pray for help to come. Ask that God would strengthen believers to love their neighbors and speak truth faithfully in challenging environments.
Young people
Chadian Arabs: Pray for young people who have recently heard about Jesus and are open to continued conversations. Ask for the Holy Spirit’s guidance in future meetings and discussions. Pray that the chaplaincy team would have wisdom, sensitivity, and courage as they continue building relationships. May these young people experience God’s presence and respond to His invitation.
Answered Prayers
Arabs of North Africa: Pray for F and Y who have now both experienced prayers being answered, but they have not given Jesus the glory for it. Pray that their hearts will be softened and their eyes opened to the truth of Jesus’ power and love.
Pray for Peace and Reconciliation
Nuba Mtn Muslim UPGs: Pray for the ongoing conflict between the S. and O. tribes in Sudan. Ask God to raise up impartial believing mediators who can help foster dialogue and reconciliation rooted in the Way of Jesus. Pray that mistrust, fear, and historical tensions over land and resources would be softened. Ask for pathways toward peaceful coexistence and lasting kingdom unity between these communities. May they come to know Jesus as the Peacemaker, the one who Reconciles.
Prayer Retreat Attendance
Islanders: Pray for local believers ‘Rachel’ and ‘Sophie’ who were able to attend a prayer retreat organized by a group from West Africa. Pray as they share what they heard and learned, and that it would spark more enthusiasm in other believers for group prayer and generally meeting together.
Connecting with the Body
Somali of East Africa and Diaspora: Pray for two families (BMBs) whom we have recently introduced to one of our fellowships. The pastor will be following up with them and connecting them to a home group and discipleship groups. Pray for a smooth settling-in process and for them to develop genuine, lasting relationships with new friends. May their passion for Jesus continue to grow, along with a deep compassion for friends who are still in spiritual darkness. Pray that God will guide their steps and establish them firmly as they grow within this new community.
Conflict Zones
Sudan: Continued drone attacks and fighting across Sudan have destroyed hospitals, displaced thousands, and taken many civilian lives. Communities near conflict zones are living in constant fear, and access to healthcare is becoming increasingly limited. Pray for protection for civilians, medical workers, and aid providers. Pray for restraint and wisdom among leaders. Above all, pray that even in the midst of violence, many would turn to the true God and find hope beyond the turmoil.
Reading and Listening
Chadian Arabs: Pray for several patients and families at G2 who have shown interest in learning more about Jesus, including those who have begun reading the New Testament and those continuing to listen to Christian radio after returning home. These individuals are engaging with Scripture in different ways. Pray that God would speak to them clearly through His Word and through what they hear. Ask that their curiosity would grow into faith and transformation.
Pray for Humanitarian Access and Compassion
Nuba Mtn Muslim UPGs: Lift up those displaced and affected by this ongoing conflict, asking God to provide food, shelter, and medical care. Pray that workers would have safe access to serve both the S and the O tribes impartially and demonstrate Christ’s love through practical help. Ask that humanitarian aid would open doors for meaningful spiritual conversations. Pray that compassion would break down barriers and build trust among communities.
Standing Firm Under Persecution
Anatakarna of Madagascar: The two new believers are already facing persecution from their Muslim families because of their decision to follow Jesus. Despite the pressure, they remain firm in their faith and are eager to share what they are learning with friends who are willing to listen. Their courage is a powerful testimony in a place where following Christ can be costly. Pray that God will strengthen them, protect them, and use their witness to draw many others to Himself.
Vulnerable Young People
Sudan: Violence, economic collapse, and militia activity have forced many young people into cycles of conflict and survival-driven violence. Communities are strained, and young men in particular are vulnerable to recruitment into armed groups. Ask that many would encounter Christ and become peacemakers within their communities.
Father and Son
Chadian Arabs: Pray for a former patient who has returned to the G2 hospital after a long stay some years ago. During his previous time, he had opportunities to learn about Jesus, and now he has come back with his son and is open to hearing more. Pray that these renewed connections would allow for continued discipleship and encouragement. Ask that both father and son would grow in understanding and respond to the good news.
Outreach to Refugees
Sudanese Refugees: Refugees across neighboring countries continue to face uncertainty, fear of deportation, and vulnerability to exploitation and violence. Many are women and children carrying deep trauma and loss. Pray that churches in host nations would reach out with compassion, practical help, and the love of Christ. Ask that those who have experienced violence and loss would encounter God’s peace and healing.
Prophet Stories
Somali of East Africa and Diaspora: Please pray for two young men we recently met before football training who have shown a sincere desire to learn more about God. Though devoted to their own religion, they have agreed to study the journey of the prophets from Adam to Jesus and committing to a 13-week study. This is now on it’s third week, and each session is bringing thoughtful, honest questions as we explore Scripture together. Ask the Lord to give wisdom as His Word is shared, and pray that He would open their hearts to the truth of the Gospel.
Conversations during the Fasting Month
Chadian Arabs: Pray for several individuals who have recently heard about Jesus through conversations during Ramadan and hospital visits. Some have shown a genuine interest in continuing to seek truth and learn more about the gospel. Ask that God would continue to draw them to Himself and open their spiritual eyes. Pray that these early conversations would lead to deeper understanding and lasting faith.
Easter Service
Diaspora: Pray for two islanders who have moved abroad for health care. They connected with a worker friend in their new city and agreed to come to an Easter service! Pray that the service would have touched their hearts and challenged them to take seriously this Jesus who rose from the dead.
Film and Testimonies
Bara of Madagascar: Please pray for the villages where the Gospel is being shared through testimonies, the story of Mary Magdalene, and the message of Jesus. Many people are hearing the Good News for the first time, while others are encountering it again. Pray that the Holy Spirit would deeply touch their hearts and give them understanding of the truth. Ask that many among the Bara people would have a living encounter with Christ and believe in Him for salvation.
Baby steps
Antakarana of Madagascar: The wife of “A” also chose to follow Jesus, but she is still uncertain about what her new faith means. Even so, “A” says that he already sees a clear difference in her. This early transformation is encouraging. Pray that she will grow in confidence, understanding, and joy as she learns to walk with Christ.
Rekindle
Islanders: Pray for our study groups that have ‘fizzled out’ during the fasting month. Pray that motivation and momentum would return, that people would remember what they previously studied and be able to jump back in. Pray particularly for a group on the plateau that haven’t studied for a long time: local believing couple are hoping to rekindle it. Pray for open hearts to receive the word with joy.
Healing and Openness
Rangi of Tanzania: Please pray for a 8-year old boy, H., who was rushed to the hospital in the capital city by one of the workers. He ended up having typhoid and an obstructed bowel. He’s improving but still very ill. Pray for his healing and for this tangible help to open a door for sharing God’s love with his whole family.
From Darkness to Hope
Antakarana of Madagascar: “A” had been planning to use spirit practices to harm his boss’s family. When Brother “R” heard about this, he asked “A” if he could share a better way, and A agreed to listen. As “R” explained the message of Jesus, “A” and his wife both decided to begin following Christ. Pray that their new faith will continue to transform their hearts, bringing peace and freedom where fear once ruled.
Jealousy
Rangi of Tanzania: “We are a people group with hearts of jealousy,” one neighbor told us recently, “We don’t want others to get ahead. We are happy when they have a hard life.” We have witnessed this dark cloud of jealousy over and over again in the Rangi people and it truly is heartbreaking. Pray the Lord would bring light into that darkness of selfishness and reveal to them the beauty of sacrificial love.
In Christ Alone
Bara of Madagascar: Although up to half have come to identify as “Christian” less than 2% are evangelical believers and many still follow traditional practices such as ancestor veneration. Pray that believers among the Bara would grow strong in faith and become witnesses to their own people. Ask the Lord to open hearts across Bara villages so many more will come to put their hope in Christ alone.
