Islanders: Recently, an ethnomusicology training took place on Vanilla Island. A dozen people were trained, two new songs were crafted, and about a dozen previously composed songs were recorded. Praise God for these encouraging developments in local worship. Pray that the Lord would continue to grow the local bodies on all the islands in worship, especially through musical heart styles that resonate deeply with people, just as His Word is increasingly reaching them in their heart languages. Also pray that these worship expressions would become a powerful witness, helping to bring the good news to those who have not yet heard and drawing many more islanders to know and follow Christ.
