Islanders: Recently, during a local religious festival remembering Abraham’s obedience to God, a teammate was able to have a meaningful spiritual conversation with a friend. She shared about Christ as the perfect sacrifice and discussed Scripture passages that point to God’s desire for repentance and a transformed heart rather than religious rituals alone. Praise God for this opportunity and pray that these conversations would continue and bear fruit. Pray also for a new teaching opportunity that will allow this worker to build relationships within the community over the coming months. Ask that she would serve with wisdom, excellence, and love, and that the Lord would open doors for deeper conversations about the gospel. Ask that He would equip her for every opportunity to sow seeds of truth, protect her physically and spiritually, and use her faithful witness to draw many to Himself.
