Ramadan Day 22: God sent His Servant Jesus “as a light to the Gentiles, to open blind eyes, to bring out prisoners from the prison.” (Isa 42:6-7). Ask Jesus to open the eyes of Muslims blinded by the Evil One, and to set free those held captive by evil spirits.

Ramadan Day 21: Pray that Muslims would ask God, “What shall we do to do the works of God?” and that they would hear and believe His reply, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent.” (John 6:28-29)

Ramadan Day 20: Ask the Lord to appear to Muslims in dreams and visions. Many have had dreams of a man in shining light. Pray many more would as well. Pray God would send believers to explain the dreams.

Ramadan Day 19: Pray for Muslim background believers to “be strengthened by the grace that is in Christ Jesus, and what they have heard they will entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.” (from 2 Tim. 2:2)

Ramadan Day 18: Pray God would show His power and start church planting movements among our Muslim unreached people groups- for His glory and for the salvation of many. He is doing it in other places! “All things are possible with God.”

Ramadan Day 17: Pray for worthy men and women in Muslim communities to open their homes and hearts to evangelists. Pray for local churches as they reach out to their Muslim neighbours.

Ramadan Day 16: Pray for the believers from Muslim backgrounds to be strong and courageous. They face much pressure during Ramadan. Ask God to help them stand firm and hold fast to the Lord.

Ramadan Day 15: Pray for the many Muslims suffering due to drought and conflict. Pray their hearts would be opened and they would call out to the Prince of Peace. “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Rom 10:13).

Ramadan Day 14: Pray that many Muslims would come to Jesus and praise Him like David did: “Blessed are you, O LORD, the God of Israel our father, forever and ever. Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, O LORD, and you are exalted as head above all. Both riches and honour come from you, and you rule over all. In your hand are power and might, and in your hand it is to make great and to give strength to all. And now we thank you, our God, and praise your glorious name.” (1 Chron. 29:10-13)

Ramadan Day 13: Pray many Muslims would join the four living creatures and the 24 elders, and sing a new song to Jesus, “Worthy are You to take the book and to break its seals; for You were slain, and purchased for God with Your blood men from every tribe and tongue and people and nation. You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God; and they will reign upon the earth.” (Rev 5:9)

Ramadan Day 12: In Matthew 11:27-28 Jesus says, “All things have been handed over to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal Him. Come to Me…” Jesus wants Muslims to know Him! Pray Jesus would reveal the Father to Muslims, and they would come to Jesus.

Ramadan Day 11: The fifth pillar of Islam is the Hajj or pilgrimage to Mecca. Pray that Muslims would hear Jesus say what He said to the woman at the well, “Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father. You worship what you do not know, we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews. But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in Spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship Him.” (John 4: 21-23)

Ramadan Day 10: The fourth pillar of Islam is Ramadan. Muslims are trying desperately to find favour with God by keeping the fast. Pray God would show them the truth of: “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.” (Eph. 2:8-9)

Ramadan Day 9: The third pillar of Islam is zakat- the required giving of 2.5% to the poor and needy. “Freely you have received; freely give.” (Matt 10:8) Pray that Christians would freely and boldly share Good News with their Muslim friends, neighbours, and shopkeepers.

Ramadan Day 8: The second pillar of Islam is salat-ritual prayers done five times a day. As Muslims pray, ask God to have mercy on them, and to show them the Way, the Truth, and the Life. “I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give Muslims spiritual wisdom and revelation in their growing knowledge of Him-may the eyes of their heart be enlightened- so that they may know what is the hope of His calling, what is the wealth of His glorious inheritance in the saints, and what is the incomparable greatness of His power toward us who believe.” (adapted from Eph 1:17-19)

Ramadan Day 7: There are 5 pillars or obligations in Islam. The first is the shahadah or creed, “There is no God but Allah, and Muhammad is his messenger.” Ask God to teach Muslims a new creed: “For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all.” (1Tim 2:5-6)

Pray for more dreams and visions as most of the Mwani are fasting and spending more time in prayer. Pray for God’s mercy to fall on them, that their eyes will be opened and that they will be guided to the truth. Praise God for “O” as he had recently stated that Jesus has indeed resurrected. Pray for wisdom in following up with him.

Ramadan Day 6: “Great indeed, we confess, is the mystery of godliness: He was manifested in the flesh, vindicated by the Spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among the nations, believed on in the world, taken up in glory.” (1Tim 3:16) Ask God to reveal this mystery to fasting Muslims, that they too might be among those who believe.

Tsumkwe is mourning the death of a San woman, It is likely that she died from alcohol poisoning. please pray that the Lord would protect the San from the dangers of addiction and that the children in the community would be saved.

Ramadan Day 5: “Behold, the LORD’s hand is not shortened that it cannot save, or His ear dull that it cannot hear; but your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you so that He does not hear.” (Isaiah 59:1-2) Ask the Spirit to convict fasting Muslims of their sin and separation from God. Pray many would cry out to God and be saved.

Ramadan Day 4: If we walk in God’s ways and follow His chosen fast, He promises that, “Then shall your light break forth like the dawn, and your healing shall spring up speedily; your righteousness shall go before you; the glory of the LORD shall be your rear guard. Then you shall call, and the LORD will answer; you shall cry, and He will say ‘Here I am'” (Isaiah 58:8-9). Ask God to show fasting Muslims that their fast is not pleasing or acceptable to Him. Pray they would seek to know how to truly please God.

Update on The Mbororo of CAR and Chad

Because of the conflict in the Central African Republic, many Mbororo (as many as 80,000) have been forced to flee as refugees into Eastern Cameroon. Because of the long trek and the lack of good pasture land, their cattle are emaciated and dying. Prices are falling from the normal of $500 per head down to a mere $50, as the Mbororo desperately try to eek out a living. Pray that in this time of extreme turmoil and change, that many Mbororo would be drawn to the Prince of Peace. Pray for the believers who God has already placed in Cameroon–that they would be hospitable ambassadors of Jesus to a suffering people.

Update on The Lopit of South Sudan

The rains were late to this region. The Lopit lean heavily on their ‘rainmaker’ and his so called powers. When the rains failed to materialize this year, the rainmaker had to flee for his life. Please pray that the ‘rainmaker’ would be just one of many to come to know the saving power of The Lord Jesus, and be set free from this false bondage of fear.

This people group do not know about salvation through The Lord Jesus Christ. They need us to lift them up to the Lord, they are lost without Him. Let us do this, as He enables us, as often as they are brought to our minds. Pray that they would be brought to our minds often.

In this huge area of South Sudan, we long to place teams among these unreached peoples. Sharing the wonderful treasure of the gospel with those who have not heard. Please pray that AIM would be guided so clearly to the area that is ripe unto harvest at this time. It’s an exciting time time to see where God leads.

As God tells us in Ezekiel 33:11, that He delights when sinners turn from their evil ways and love. May our prayers for the salvation of the Toposa reflect this and so be perfectly consistent with the heart of God.

For the last few months the people of the village of Tuba have been visited and spoken to about the Lord Jesus, please pray for them to not only hear, but to turn and be saved. Pray for leading to the one who will be first to believe in the wonderful message of salvation.

Ramadan Day 3: God’s chosen fast is to, “share your bread with the hungry and bring the homeless poor into your house; when you see the naked, to cover him, and not to hide yourself from your own flesh.” (Isaiah 58:7) Pray fasting Muslims would sense an emptiness and futility in their fasting and would long to really know God and His ways.

Those following the Ramadan fast on Nosy Mitsio believe it will make them “clean” before God and grant them his favor. Pray that they would know the God who made us clean in Jesus and who gave us his favor before we even asked for it.

Ramadan Day 2: Ask God to speak to fasting Muslims, “Is such the fast that I choose, a day for a person to humble himself? Is it to bow down his head like a reed, and to spread sack cloth and ashes under him? Will you call this a fast, and a day acceptable to the LORD? Is not this the fast that I choose: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the straps of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and to break every yoke?” (Isaiah 58:5-6)

Last night, on the evening of June 28th the the cry went up in our village, “The moon has been sighted!” and so begins another month of fasting for the I$lamic O people, and Ms all over the world.

Day 1 of Ramadan: P-y that as the O are seeking to find favor with God this month, God would move in remarkable ways, and the power of the Holy Spirit would overshadow them – that as they fast, they will hunger and thirst for Truth and Righteousness! P-y that J. the Messiah would be revealed to many O FAMILY GROUPS, and that they would understand about God’s GRACE through J. and accept Him as their personal Lord and Savior!

Update on The Gabbra of Kenya

It is sorio season in Kalacha. Sorio means sacrifice and the Gabbra will slaughter hundreds of animals throughout the next two months in order to marry, honor the dead, and change social status. While we do not seek to tell the Gabbra in our church which ceremonies are ok for believers, we do challenge them to think about what they are doing. We constantly ask why and what about Jesus. Please join us in praying for our Gabbra church family. Pray that they would think Biblically about the ceremonies and what it means to live in the freedom of Christ as a Gabbra.

Pray that God would remove the fear that paralyzes anyone even remotely interested in hearing about Jesus. The fear of being shunned and losing one’s community is so big, people are afraid even to listen – and how can they know God if they don’t hear about Him first?

Please pray for a new believer, who has been delivered from demonic possession. Pray for her as she mourns the death of her mother, but praise God she was bold enough to proclaim the name of Jesus at her mother’s funeral. This is a big deal culturally as funerals are steeped in folk Islamic traditions and rituals.

Ramadan Day 1: As Muslims begin their month of fasting, pray that they would find it spiritually empty and ask God, “Why have we fasted and you see it not? Why have we humbled ourselves, and you take no knowledge of it?” (Isaiah 58:3)

Ramadan starts tomorrow. Muslims around the world will be observing a month-long fast from dawn to sunset. This is a very important religious observance for them. They will try hard to please God through fasting and piety. Ask God to reveal to them that “without faith it is impossible to please God” (Heb 11:6)
