Bara of Madagascar: Many Bara villages in southern Madagascar remain isolated by rugged terrain, making travel difficult and access to the Gospel even more challenging. By bringing solar-powered equipment and showing the Jesus Film in the Bara language, remote villages are being given the opportunity to hear the message of Jesus—many for the very first time. Although it is a difficult journey, over rough roads, the team seeks to ensure that every Bara village has the chance to know the hope found in Christ. “Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.” 1 John 5:12. Pray that more Bara people will respond to the Gospel with faith, that new believers will grow into strong disciples, and that every remaining village will have the opportunity to hear the name of Jesus.
