Fulani of West Africa: The Fulani are one of Africa’s largest unreached people groups, with more than 20 million people living across the continent in a broad band stretching south of the Sahara Desert. While many Fulani communities have little or no access to the Gospel, God is faithfully building His Church. Praise God for a small Fulani sub-group in Chad who have constructed their own simple shelter where they meet for church each Sunday. These 4-5 men and their wives, who have believed over many years, are nomads who settled down and have persevered despite attempts to draw them away from the gospel. Pray for one of the men who has had some Bible training and seeks to guide them. Ask that the Lord would protect them and give them courage to speak of Jesus to their neighbors. Pray that many more Fulani men, women, and children will come to know Christ.
