Arabs of North Africa: Many Arabs across North Africa celebrated Eid al-Adha last week, a holiday that commemorates Abraham’s willingness to sacrifice his son. Families gather to slaughter sheep and share meals as they reflect on the meaning of sacrifice and devotion to God. For our teams serving among this largely unreached people group, this season provides a natural opportunity to point friends and neighbors to the greater sacrifice God provided through Jesus Christ. As they join local families for meals and conversations, many have opportunity to sharing the good news that Jesus is the Lamb of God who was slain for the sins of the world. Pray that many would recognize Jesus as the true Lamb of God and receive Him as Lord and Savior.
