Nuba Mtn Muslim UPGs: The conflict in the Nuba Mountains has intensified. Families in several mountain communities fled their homes after gunfire moved closer to civilian areas. Many spent the night outside, hiding in fields or among rocks with little food or water, unsure if it is safe to return. One local believer shared that children have begun crying whenever they hear distant vehicles because they associate the sound with incoming attacks. Parents are trying to comfort them while carrying their own fear and exhaustion. Pray for protection over families sheltering in remote areas tonight. Pray over local believers as they try to still gather to pray and encourage one another despite the danger. Pray for roads to reopen safely so trapped workers and families can move if necessary.
