Islanders: Pray for the local believers who will be navigating Eid this week. Eid is a time of family reunions, extravagant meals, new clothes, and community activities, all wrapped around religious events and prayers. Attending the religious center at Eid is like going to a Christmas service in Christian majority areas: Many will only go that day, so it makes it extra hard for believers not to participate. One group of believers is planning their own worship event during the morning when the majority of the prayers and sermons are happening. May the Lord protect, strengthen, and encourage believers this Eid, especially as they meet with one another and with the Lord this year.
