Today is the biggest holiday of the year for our Cousins here. Normally each family would have been preparing for weeks, and would be killing a sheep today, to commemorate Abraham being provided a sheep in place of his son. This year however, the country’s leader prohibited the sheep sacrifice due to a low supply of sheep. Instead he will be killing one sheep on behalf of the nation. To us this is such a picture, a talking point for what the Father has done for us.Today as our neighbors celebrate with family but feel the lack of doing something that is so important in their way, would you lift with us that they would come to know the One who is the only true sacrifice, who gave himself as the ‘ransom for all’
