Makhuwa Nahara of Mozambique: For years, there has been little visible Gospel response among the Nahara. God is changing that. Recently, the first known Nahara believers in this region publicly declared their faith through baptism. One new believer boldly invited his Muslim family, friends, and neighbors to witness this important step of obedience. People traveled for miles to hear his testimony, revealing a growing hunger among the Nahara to learn more about Jesus and His Word. As interest in the Gospel grows, the need for Scripture in the Nahara language becomes even more urgent. Pray for the team’s translation project that they would begin to supply much needed audio Nahara Bible translations to these areas ASAP. Pray that these new believers will remain steadfast in their faith and become faithful witnesses within their communities.
