Makhuwa Nahara of Mozambique: Our radio broadcasts are currently going through the Gospels to proclaim that Jesus is the Christ and Saviour. The team has been showing how Jesus fulfilled every detail of the Passover Lamb — in his character, his life, and his entry into Jerusalem — drawing these connections directly from Exodus to demonstrate that he is the sacrifice for sin. This coming week, the broadcast will focus on a specific element from The Song of Moses: the name of God. The Song declares that the LORD is Yahweh. They will connect this Name of God to John 8, when Jesus told the Pharisees, “Before Abraham was, I AM” — the name Yahweh, applied to himself. In doing so, Jesus declared himself to be God. Pray that the connection between the name of God in The Song of Moses and Jesus’ words in John 8 will open hearts to the truth of who Jesus is. Pray that those hearing this truth for the first time in their own heart language will grasp why Jesus’ blood alone is sufficient to pay for sin — because it is the blood of God. Ask that this radio ministry would reach into the spiritually dark, unreached areas.
